We had a Dr check up and here are the 2 month stats:
Height: 24.61" long
Weight 13lbs 13oz
Such a big girl! And practically perfect in every way. She had her two month vaccinations and cried as expected :) She is sleeping well and nursing like a champ. She has been practicing many facial expressions and smiles are the best part. She is the cutest little button and we couldn't be happier to have her in our lives.
On a side note this month we discussed her growing hemangioma with our pediatrician. Above her left eye she has a red birth mark which is called a hemangioma. I would not know what this is if not for my niece Olivia. (Olivia has a hemangioma in almost the exact same spot as Hannah) Basically it is a bright red nodule of extra blood vessels in the skin. It commonly grows for the first year of life and then recedes over time with usually little if any visible trace by age 10. My wonderful sister in law Ilene has been a wealth of knowledge on the subject and has definitely eased any of my concerns. Hannah doesn't seem bothered by it in the least and neither does our pediatrician. We will monitor it as time goes on but as of now we just refer to it as her beauty mark :) And the most beautiful girl she is!
