Misc. November and December

November and December proved to be very busy for our family and I made sure to take tons of pics to remember it all :) Of course!  So here we go...

 DIY family pics :)

Lots of snuggles and love from baby Hannah

 Passed out at dinner :)

 Sister Sister
Boots with the fur!  Hannah is loving the hand me downs from her sis!  (And cousins:))

 Somebody got into the chocolate

 Twinning

Hannah LOVES her sis and Penny does too :)

So much fun at the park

 I lOVE my girls

Snuggles in Mommy and Daddy's bed are the best

 Tummy Time!

 We call her Chunk :)

Fast forward a few years :)  Practicing for school in Meema's classroom

 Twinning yet again!

 Puddle jumping :)

Meet Sophie.  I never purchased the infamous Sophie toy for Penny because I didn't see why people were paying an arm and a leg for a chew toy.  Then Hannah came around and well lets just say she is much more vocal about teething than Penny ever was and therefore along came Sophie.  And I have to admit, worth every penny :)

Feeding the ducks with Grandpa John

Meeting the new baby hippo at the Zoo

Natural History Museum.  Penny was saying that everything was "amazing"

 Stroller Strides

Walking with the ladies :)  Hannah, Jameson and Mattea were all born within months of each other.

All bundled up at stroller strides

November brought birthdays for my brother and sis in law.  Last year of their twenties!!  Next year the big 3-0!!

 Daddy's girls and the train

Auntie Rosie came to visit and was such a sport having a tea party with P

Visiting Great Nana at Sunrise and holding her hand

Scotland turned ONE!  And Lindsey and Ray threw a wonderful birthday party with war paint and all :)

The Klingensmith clan came for a visit on their annual New Years trip.  Cousins having fun! And Hannah's first time on the swings :)

A little movie time fun with Emma and Lu :) Frozen of course

Daddy took P ice skating.  Wish I could say it went as well as this picture portrays but better luck next year.

All in all we wrapped up the year with a bang!  Bring it on 2015!!  We can't wait to see what you have to offer :)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Christmas is just more and more fun each year with the kiddos.  And this was Hannah's First Christmas!!  Penny is now getting much more aware of what is going on and we had so much fun with many Christmas activities starting from December 1st!

Our Elf on the Shelf Nucky came to visit for year #2.  This year he was very helpful to Mommy :)  He was watching every second to see if Penny was being good or not and was sure to report to Santa if she was being naughty :)

We had lots of fun picking out and setting up/decorating our Christmas tree.

My new favorite ornaments from my sis Ilene :)

This year Toys R Us was having a sale and Daddy bought the girls (Himself) a train to go around the Christmas tree.  Many fun hours were had watching it go around and around.

Matching Jammies :)

This was our first year doing a book advent.  Penny got to unwrap a Christmas book each evening before bed and we read it together as a family.

Christmas cookie time!!  She loved to use the cookie cutters and mostly eat the dough.  Have no fear! No raw eggs were used in the recipe ;)

Time to visit Santa!!!  No tears this year, however we didn't get much of a smile either :)

Time for the annual Chadbourne Bingo night/Christmas party!

Charlie and Linda put on a fabulous feast and fun was had by all!

Next up was the Castaic Santa visit and the McEwan's and Meema came to see the fat man in the red suit too :)   We also made our annual gingerbread house.

Again no tears but no smiles :)

Mom's school had an Elf breakfast where all the girls got together and had yummy pancakes and made crafts.  However I think the girls enjoyed touring Meema's classroom the most.

We went to visit Great Nana Mary at Sunrise and the girls were the entertainment for the evening dancing all around.

Cream cheese garlic dip in the shape of a snowman of course!

We went to the local Christmas light spot, Wakefield, to tour the amazing Christmas lights.

And next up was Oma's house for Christmas eve!  This is where we do Christmas with all of Corey's family.  So much fun watching the kids run around and open all the gifts.

Penny especially loved the attention she got from her cousin Hailey.  She loved playing with her.

Brother and Sis with all their babies!

Nana Candy headed back to our house with us to wait for old Saint Nick to arrive!

And now for Christmas morning!  Penny and Hannah must have been good because Santa was extra good to them :) We started the morning off with breakfast with Nana Candy and Meema and we opened all of our many presents.

Nana Candy got Penny a horse!!  And Meema got Penny a house!

Christmas dinner we did dinner at our house.  Chinese food is our tradition and it was D-Lish!  We had a great time with family and are so blessed to have everyone so close.

Up next was New Years Eve!  We stopped by our favorite spot, Wolf Creek Brewery to say hi to our friend Melissa and grab a quick brew.

And then it was back to our house to ring in the New Year with our friends Chris and Chelsea.

New Years day we spent relaxing and watching the Rose Parade and then off to Meema's house for a delicious dinner and to spend time with family.

The holidays came on like a whirl wind as they always do.  I really try to be in the moment as much as possible as it all goes by so quickly.  I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful family to make memories with and start new traditions and continue old ones too.  Every year it just gets better :)
