4th of July

We had such a great 4th of July this year.  We went to the Newhall parade for the very first time.  Luckily we have some wonderful friends who go to the parade every year and they helped us to fall right into the tradition.  Penelope loved sitting and watching the cars go by and waving her little American flag.  Then after the parade we headed home to recoup and then off we went to our friends Sonny and Nicole's house for some BBQ, swimming and firework fun.  Penny was out by 7pm (per the usual) so she missed out on all the fireworks but there's always next year :)
