Had a Dr apt today and found out I'm 3-1/2 cm dilated and 30% effaced. Baby is measuring a week ahead of schedule size wise and she is head down. Ready to rock! Dr is a little concerned about her size (big baby girl) so I have an ultra sound scheduled for Monday to check her a little more in detail and another Dr apt next Tuesday. Depending on how big she gets in the next few weeks Dr did mention the need for a possible C Section but as of now we are going to give the old fashioned way a try and hope for the best. Baby's body is measuring bigger than expected so that's where my Dr seems to think the complication would come into play but still too early to make that call. I still wouldn't be surprised if she stays in there another three weeks, but we are ready to meet little Hannah! Bags are packed, last minute lists have been made and car seat is installed and ready for her big debut. Now all that's left is the waiting game. She'll come when she's ready :) But the anticipation is building and I can't wait for her to be here!!!
Mommy is HOT and achy. It's a whole different ball game being pregnant in July than in December. I give all my fellow preggos and Mommy's props who make it through the summer. My aches and pains are pretty normal I suppose and I'm pretty sure I have the full blown waddle down :) But I really am trying to enjoy this as much as possible because I just know how amazing it is to be pregnant and I know how much I will miss it when my baby bump is gone. But of course then I'll have my beautiful little girl and I can't imagine anything more special. I am so lucky to be so blessed and I thank my lucky stars every day for the wonderful life I have. I don't know what I did to deserve it but I sure am happy.
