Our little angel turned 9 months old on September 20th. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful daughter inside and out. She is so well natured and happy pretty much all of the time. This month has been a blast so far.
We had a 9 month check up and to our surprise and excitement there were no vaccinations this time around. Since flu season is heading our way we did however choose to have her get the flu shot. But other than that no other shots. (Dr said however to be prepared cause the 1year check up is a doozy :()
She weighed in at 22lbs and 29-1/2" long. Our big girl. She is outgrowing many of her clothes and pretty much will only fit in size 12 month and she's in size 4 diapers. All looks great according to Dr and we just couldn't be happier!!!

Penelope is eating anything and everything (pretty much) these days. We have been feeding her what we eat for dinner and I just love watching her feed herself and see her reaction with all of the foods we give her. So far there isn't anything she wont eat. She enjoys turkey and chicken and even salmon. She loves carrots and zucchini and butternut squash and peas and especially loves oranges and strawberries :) Gets her appetite from her daddy and mommy :)
She is on the move much more now. Although still not doing the "traditional crawling" she makes her way around the house just fine. She will even stand unassisted and not holding on for a good many seconds at a time now. And loves to stand while playing with her music table (one of the very gracious hand me downs from her cousins Emma and Olivia)
Penelope LOVES music. She has many toys that play music and is drawn to them all. She loves to dance and has quite a few moves under her belt. Twerking, headbanging and flicky hands are some of her favorite. She even has been known to hum to her own tune when there is no music playing.
Some of her other tricks include laughing. If anyone around her lets out a laugh Penny loves to be apart of the action by laughing along with them. It is unbelievably adorable!! She also is now doing a shoulder shrug that is do die for. I guess I must do this a lot cause she is a pro. The cutest little mimic I have ever seen :)
With the weather being so nice lately we have been at stroller strides every day and we have been having fun outside. Penny loves it when its windy especially and she still really enjoys playing and being outside with her friends.
I cant imagine life without my P nut. Its only been 9 months but it sure seems like she's always been here. I love her with every last inch of my heart. Corey and I are overjoyed with love.
