My little beauty queen turned six months old on June 20, 2013!! Wow!! Half a year has gone by and I feel like I've just blinked my eyes!!
We had her 6 month Dr apt and here are the stats:
Height 28"
Weight 19lbs 1.8oz
Head 44.5 cm
She wears anywhere from 6 month to 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She has the cutest little chubby thighs and arms and I could literally just eat her up!!
She sits up very well and much prefers this position than anything else. She is a pro in the shopping carts and highchairs.
She will even stand while holding on.
Rolling over is still not her favorite but she surprises us sometimes.
She is still the greatest sleeper and has been known to take naps no matter where we are.
Lately Penelope has been very responsive to other kids. Stroller strides is super fun and now she interacts with her new friends. She especially loves her cousins who play so nicely and even share their toys with her.
Corey brought home a walker/car for Penny the other day. And she loves it. She is a slow mover but every day is getting better and better at making it go.
She still doesn't care much for rice cereal but we will be moving onto other foods this week. We started with avocado and she seems to enjoy it. She wants to try anything and everything that mommy and daddy are eating. Grabbing at all food.
My mom and I did a little DIY photo shoot at her house the other day. And I am overjoyed with how the pics turned out. I couldn't pick just one or two so please enjoy the many pics below. I am just obsessed with my little doll.
Penelope is loving life. She is just the happiest baby and Corey and I feel more than lucky!! Her smiles just melt my heart and now she is full of giggles. I never knew my heart could feel so much love.
