Corey's mom so graciously let us use her timeshare in Ventura for our first family vacation. We spent the week making memories. It was pretty neat cause Corey and his family used to go to this same location in Ventura for their family vacations and I know it was really special to him to be able to take Penny there as well. We really lucked out with the weather. It was only overcast one of the days but nice and sunny for the rest. Corey surfed most every morning and Penny and I went to watch him. We relaxed by the pool and we took lots of walks and went down to the harbor. We also headed over to main street and found some yummy places to eat. We even headed into Solvang for one of the days. We did have a little mishap with the car at the end but all in all it was a wonderful vacation.
